The work "It's Getting Hot in Here" is on display at the Etnia House of Arts exhibition in Venice in May 2026.

A couple of weeks ago, Johanna, who works on subtitles for YLE, gave me a call to ask about a few terms. It brought back memories of filming the World Ladies episode three years ago in Suomenlinna, on a hot late summer day. The episode is now set to air on Yle Teema in Finland!

Me and Jouni Leino parked ourselves in a prime spot at the Miltton media day and presented the brand new Lähde table. The company was undeniably delicious: Kalevala Koru and Marimekko were launching their new joint collection right next to us.

January in Copenhagen didn't hold back. The sea wind cut through coat and attitude alike, chilling even a hard‑boiled Finn to the bone. When the frost made fabrics crackle with static and cling to skin, it didn't slow down the city's fashion crowd. The streets buzzed with one stunning look after another: pillbox hats, furs, and daring combinations...

I have two events coming up in Copenhagen, and I've packed my suitcase full of glass — which means a slow airport security check ahead! At the end of January, Copenhagen will host two unique experiences: the POET exhibition at Copenhagen Fashion Week and the presence-focused Heavy Glass Ritual.

When was the last time you drank from a sculpture? I want to take unique glassware to new places. Now, my pieces have found their way to the legendary Kämp Bar, where even the national composer Jean Sibelius once raised his glass.

Where material becomes attitude

Sini Majuri turns glass, wood and ceramics into furniture, sculptures, lighting and spatial works that refuse to sit quietly in a room. Glass is the core, the force, the edge.

Majuri makes art on commission. From singular objects to large-scale installations.

Sini Majuri's practice is rooted in mouth-blown glass, part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage, driven forward by Finnish craftsmanship.

Majuri works with architects, designers, hotels and collectors.

From objects to atmospheres: glass awards, corporate gifts, sculptures, lighting and statement pieces that take space over the moment you enter.
