Kuksa. Vekkuli

Vekkuli is a unique drinking sculpture blown from neodymium glass, a glass kuksa that is not a hurried sip but a considered moment.

Its surface is knobbly and undulating, as if shaped by wind. The form is chunky and rounded, joyfully asymmetrical. Vekkuli is heavy and thick-rimmed; you feel it in your hand, and that is precisely its point. This is not something you sip from absentmindedly. Drinking from this sculptural kuksa requires you to slow down and be present.

Neodymium glass turns the piece into a playful stage for light. Depending on the light source, the color shifts from cool violet to bluish tones, as if the object itself were deciding which mood to inhabit today.

The work is signed and titled with an engraved inscription on the base. Hot beverages are not recommended, as hand-formed glass is sensitive to thermal shock. Vekkuli prefers cool drinks and unhurried moments.

The object measures approximately 11 cm in height and 12 × 9 cm in width.
