Humma Wing by Sini Majuri is a handmade ceramic wall horse. The surface is veiled in a misty grey and soft greengray glaze that settles like quiet air before rain. Across the skin, small pale crystals appear here and there like thoughts that briefly surface and fade, gentle flickers within the haze. Nothing is loud; everything hums beneath the surface.
Along the side runs a single stroke of gold, drawn in one continuous gesture. It is genuine Lapland leaf gold, laid thick enough to preserve the movement of the brush. The texture remains visible. It is a trace of the hand, a moment held in matter. That golden line is the wing.
Humma Wing tells of a flying horse. The gold rests against the horse's flank like a sudden lift, a promise of ascent. Not an escape, but a becoming. The instant when weight turns into air.
The piece is hung on the wall using a concealed mounting hole on the back. If needed, three mounting points can be used to ensure the humma sits securely even on an uneven wall.
Every Humma is signed on the back by Sini Majuri.
