Every Trojan Horse sculpture is a one-of-a-kind piece, by artist Sini Majuri. The sculptures combine blown glass and ceramic.
Inspired by the myth of the Trojan horse, each work tells a layered
story about beauty, and the power of what lies beneath the surface.
The ceramic elements are hand-built in Lapinlahti, Finland, while the glass parts are shaped freehand in Suomenlinna and Riihimäki, using Finnish artisanal glass. Each horse is assembled with care, balancing contrasts in texture and light.
Ceramic surfaces come in two distinct finishes:
– a soft, marshmallow-like foam glaze, or
– a shimmering, crystalline glaze that resembles frost or mineral growth.
No two horses are the same. Each sculpture has its own color scheme, personality, and presence.
