Vaahtispaahtis is the wild spark of the series, a sculpture that feels as though it's caught mid-laugh. Its foam-glazed ceramic surface rises in pillowy shapes, like sugar crystallizing or sea foam drying in the sun. The glaze creates a tactile, almost edible texture that invites a second look.
Handblown colored glass threads through the form like a burst of energy, illuminating the ceramic with flashes of warm and cool light. As the piece turns, the colors scatter, shift, and gather again, a visual rhythm that gives Vaahtispaahtis its unmistakable momentum.
Built by hand in Lapinlahti and shaped in glass studios in Suomenlinna and Riihimäki, the sculpture carries Sini Majuri's signature playfulness and technical precision. It's joyful, a little irreverent, and impossible to overlook.
