Trojan Horse Pink carries a warm pulse beneath its smooth ceramic shell. It feels almost tender, a sculpture that glows without trying to impress. Light slips across the soft, rosy glaze like the last color of sunset on a quiet wall.
Inside the form, handblown glass creates a luminous core. It behaves like a captured breath of brightness, giving the horse a sense of inner life. There's something intimate about the way the materials meet: clay shaped by touch, glass shaped by fire, both held in tension by the vision of artist Sini Majuri.
The ceramics are handmade in Lapinlahti, and the glass elements are formed freehand in Suomenlinna and Riihimäki. Pink stands as an exploration of gentleness, a sculpture that doesn't demand attention but effortlessly receives it.
