Copenhagen Fashion Week Meets Heavy Glass Art

17/01/2026

I have two events coming up in Copenhagen, and I've packed my suitcase full of glass — which means a slow airport security check ahead! At the end of January, Copenhagen will host two unique experiences: the POET exhibition at Copenhagen Fashion Week and the presence-focused Heavy Glass Ritual.

We live in a world that moves too fast. We scroll, we walk, we think ahead. Presence has become a radical act. My exhibition invites you to touch, to look, to slow down, and to experience what often goes unnoticed.

At POET, I'll be presenting works ranging from massive, sculptural horses to individual, heavy glass drinking vessels, as well as small sculptures that reflect the emotions we usually keep hidden.

During the Heavy Glass Ritual, guests will taste Coolhead Brewery's salmiakki beer from unique, sculptural glass kuksas and drawn into a live shamanic drumming journey led by Kati and Teemu Paananen from the Taikalaakso ensemble.  Time pauses, conversations happen naturally, and together we explore how to bring presence, attention, and meaningful rituals back into our overloaded lives.

So if your shoes happen to wander toward Fashion Week, I'd love for you to join!
