In the 90s, computers met trojan horse viruses that flashed briefly on the screen. Something disappeared, and it was never recovered. It was a moment of loss and fading. A reminder of vulnerability.

The word "contain" means to hold, enclose, or have something within. But contain also implies restraint or control, to keep something in check, whether that be danger, influence, or chaos. Beyond the physical, contain relates to how experiences are framed, shaping what fits inside and what is excluded. In this sense, contain speaks to the power of defining spaces and stories, from tangible containers to the intangible filters through which we perceive and restrict the world around us.

Today, the ancient Trojan horses are gone, but in their place has crept a gentle predator. It follows your steps, creeps along your spine, and smiles sweetly. This horse needs no rider. It looks like you, but cleaner, smoother. Uncertainty, sweating, and laughter that comes at the wrong moment have been stripped away. It takes your hunger, yet makes you smile when you burn.

Fake gold shines temptingly, but the question arises: is something worthless just because it doesn't last forever? Isn't fragility exactly what makes us human?

The exhibition Contain opens a view into a curated reality, where chaos is painted with precise, surgical strokes. The visual narrative of our time is not just a pretty surface but power, telling us what is meaningful right now.
