Through glass we see Moments we would otherwise not notice. Sini Majuri's unique glass sculptures explore perception, illusion and the multi-layered identity of man. The Graal technique, blown glass and hand-worked surfaces reveal layers that change with the viewer's angle.
In the works, the woman under the glass can look different from every direction, even though the figure itself does not change. Only the perspective changes. Majuri uses glass as a material that makes the Invisible visible and challenges the Viewer to interpret the work from their own world of experience.
These sculptures are one-of-a-kind and completely handmade. Each one bears the artist's mark, light, and spatial illusion.
